Zirconia beads are mainly made of zirconia. The production methods include titration, pressing and other methods. More commonly used are 95 zirconia beads (yttrium stabilized zirconia beads), zirconium silicate beads, composite zirconium beads, etc. the following is a brief introduction to zirconia beads.


Zirconia beads are called toughened zirconia beads (hereinafter referred to as zirconia beads), which are mainly used for ultra-fine grinding and dispersion of materials requiring "zero pollution" and high viscosity and high hardness, such as electronic ceramics, magnetic materials, zirconia, silicon oxide, zirconium silicate, medicine and food, pigments, dyes, oil and ink, and special chemical industries.


At present, the smallest zirconia bead specification can be 0.05mm, which can be used for nano grinding and grinding materials to 30-50nm.


The conventional sizes are 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 to 50mm. The small ball is generally formed by mass, and the large ball is formed by pressing.


At present, zirconia beads are widely used in the fields of grinding and dispersion. Grinding is mainly used in sand mill and dispersion is mainly used in high-speed stirring mill.

Features: low price, excellent performance and low cost. Moderate density and wide application. Light bulk weight, suitable for grinding of various vertical and horizontal sand mills. Refuse to contaminate the slurry. Good corrosion resistance and chemical stability. The surface is very smooth, the inside and outside are the same, easy to clean and minimal loss to the equipment. High strength, impact resistance, dense crystallization, good toughness, no broken ball.
