Yttrium Stabilized Zirconia Beads
Yttrium stabilized zirconia beads are made of zirconium oxide and stabilizer yttrium oxide by rolling into balls/pressing into balls/dropping into balls. Through the incorporation of rare earth element yttrium, part of the zirconium oxide ions in the crystal structure of the zirconium beads are replaced by yttrium ions, thus forming yttrium stabilized zirconia beads. It has good roundness, smooth surface, high fluidity, dense internal structure, strong pressure resistance and high wear resistance, and is an ideal product among grinding media.
Cerium Stabilized Zirconia Beads
Cerium stabilized zirconia beads are made of rare earth cerium oxide fine zirconia powder, with a density of 6.1g/cm³and a Mohs hardness of 8. They have tough gem hardness, high surface finish and roundness. They are generally considered to be a grinding medium with high density and specific gravity, low friction coefficient and no pollution, and are widely used in the grinding industry.
